Pastor
Pastor Kevin Richter ( goes by Pastor Kevin) grew up in the small, rural town of Adair, Iowa. He attended Concordia University in Seward, NE, for his undergraduate degree. He completed his pastoral training in St. Louis, MO, at Concordia Seminary. He met his wife Dauline (goes by Dauli) while serving his first call at Peace In Christ Lutheran Church in Hermantown, MN. They got married in May of 2019. Their daughter, Maisy Mae, was born on Pastor Kevin's birthday in November of 2020.
He began serving St. John's Lutheran Church on January 10th, 2021. He is also serving part time as Assisting Capacity Pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. He loves hunting, fishing, golfing, wood working, and many other hobbies. Together Pastor Kevin and Dauli enjoy traveling, gardening, and raising chickens when possible.
The Richter family is very excited to be part of the Reinbeck community. Their prayer is that God would do wonderful and mighty things through their ministry here. Pastor Kevin's door is always open. Feel free to stop in and say hi or join him for a cup of coffee anytime.
